Gehl
Gehl V325

The bright segment is what Gehl V325 is rated to carry; the grey run past it is the rest of its tipping load. Bar length is tipping load drawn to the same scale on every machine on the site, so a short bar is a smaller machine and not a conservative rating.
Gehl publishes no list price for this machine, and we found no dealer listing worth quoting, so there is no number here to give you. What we can say is what the machines around it cost: the middle half of the 11 wheeled machines within 15 per cent of its capacity list between $67,000 and $80,000. That is a fact about them, not a quote for this one.
First of Gehl's large-frame wheeled skid steers, launched September 2025 alongside the V335 and V360 and badged by the parent company as the Manitou 3250V. At 3,250 lbs on a 9,101 lb frame it is aimed at work that used to need a compact wheel loader.

What owners report
Summarised from the sources listed below. Nothing here was tested by us.
Every range has a model that exists to get buyers into the frame size, and in Gehl's September 2025 large-frame launch that is this one. It carries the same structure, the same lift geometry, the same cab and the same 10,624 lb bucket breakout as the 114 hp V360, but with a 72 hp Yanmar instead of a Deutz. Whether that is shrewd or a trap depends entirely on what you intend to hang off the front.
For pallet handling and truck loading it is shrewd. The frame, the lift height and the counterweight option are what determine how much you can pick and how high you can place it, and none of those change with the engine. The patent-pending lift arms slope away from the operator so material sheds rather than packing on, hoses run inside or under the arms, and the cab adds a 7-inch display, a backlit keypad with keyless start and a foot throttle. Controls are seat-mounted pilot joysticks rather than electro-hydraulic, which means less to go wrong electrically than on several rivals. It is built in Madison, South Dakota alongside the rest of the range.
Where it stops making sense is heavy hydraulic work. Gehl publishes up to 50.3 hydraulic horsepower standard and 82 hp on the boost option for the large-frame range as a whole, but those numbers are written for engines with far more headroom than 72 hp, so anyone planning to run a large mulching head or cold planer should step up to the 100 hp V335 or get the dealer to put this machine's actual hydraulic horsepower in writing. Gehl lists no price, so quote it under both badges - it is also sold as the Manitou 3250V - and buy from whichever dealer is closer.
What owners like
- It puts the full large-frame structure - 10,624 lbs of bucket breakout, 7,041-7,116 lbs at the lift arm, the 136-inch-class lift height - under the cheapest engine in the range, which is the sensible buy for anyone whose work is lifting rather than mulching.
- 3,250 lbs of rated capacity rises to 3,800 lbs with the optional side counterweights, the largest proportional counterweight gain anywhere in Gehl's lineup.
- Pilot joysticks mounted to the seat rather than electro-hydraulic controls means fewer cab electronics to diagnose, and the joysticks move with the operator instead of the operator reaching for them.
- A 72 hp Yanmar is the same engine family running through Gehl's mid-range machines, so a fleet already on Yanmar keeps one parts and service relationship instead of adding Deutz.
- Load-sensing hydraulics with variable rate flow let the operator meter flow to the attachment rather than dumping the full circuit at it, which Gehl credits with both better attachment performance and lower fuel burn.
- Serviceability is a genuine design feature: grouped daily checks, perimeter grease fittings at walking height, a tilt-up hydraulic cooler and a tilting cab.
What owners complain about
- 72 hp under a 3,250 lb large-frame machine is modest, and it is the same engine output Gehl fits to machines 1,000 lbs lighter - if you intend to run heavy hydraulic attachments, this is the wrong model in the range.
- The 3,250 lb rating is 50% of a 6,499 lb tipping load, so the margin is thinner than the number suggests once a load sits off-centre.
- Launched September 2025 with no service record, no used market and no independent view of what the platform does at high hours.
- 9,101 lbs of operating weight brings full large-frame transport cost without the engine to match, which is an awkward combination if you are paying to haul it.
- Gehl's own product page for this model mis-tags the power source; it is a 72 hp Yanmar diesel and there is no electric version, but the error is a reminder to verify spec sheets rather than trust them.
- The high-flow option nominally reaches the range's 40 GPM, but hydraulic horsepower is what drives an attachment and 72 engine hp caps what is available - get the dealer to state the actual figure for this model rather than the range's headline.
- No published list price and essentially no dealer-listing history, so a quote can only be checked against other quotes.
