JCB has 12 machines here, 4 on wheels and 8 on rubber tracks, priced $44,390 to $113,290. The range runs from the JCB 215T up to the JCB 4TS-8T Teleskid, listed biggest first by capacity measured the same way on every machine rather than as each brochure states it.
Look at any JCB loader on this page and one lift arm is missing. Since the 1990s JCB has built its skid steers around the Powerboom, a single arm mounted on the right side of the machine, so the operator climbs in through a door in the left side instead of over the bucket or under a raised boom. JCB says the layout gives 270 degrees of visibility from the seat. The trade-offs show up once owners have run one: there is only one door, the view is excellent on the open side and worse on the boom side, and a machine parked nose-in against a wall or between buildings can be awkward to leave.
The British maker's US range was designed at its North American headquarters in Savannah, Georgia, where it has run a factory since 1999. Two families share the page. The conventional machines (215, 270 and 300 on wheels; 215T, 250T, 270T, 300T and 400T on tracks) are vertical-lift loaders. The Teleskids are the unusual ones: launched in 2017 as the first skid steer with a telescopic boom, they combine JCB's Loadall telehandler boom with a skid steer chassis. On the 3TS-8T JCB quotes 13 ft 3 in of lift height, 8 ft of forward reach and 3 ft of digging depth below grade, which no conventional loader can match. The cost is capacity at reach, which falls steeply as the boom extends, and JCB publishes figures with the boom both retracted and extended.
The newest model is the 250T, shown at The ARA Show in March 2026 as a 74 hp machine light enough for a three-quarter-ton pickup to tow, on 15.7-inch tracks at under 5 psi. The smaller machines run a Kohler-built 2.5-liter and the larger ones JCB's own EcoMAX, which JCB says needs neither a particulate filter nor DEF. JCB's $500 million plant in San Antonio, Texas, with production planned to start in 2026, is meant for Loadall telehandlers and aerial lifts, not loaders. Compared with Bobcat or Cat, JCB is the choice when getting in and out of the cab and seeing to the right are what matter, or when a telescopic reach can replace a second machine.
