Yanmar skid steers and track loaders
Yanmar has 13 machines here, 0 on wheels and 13 on rubber tracks, priced $60,000 to $110,650. The range runs from the Yanmar TL25RP up to the Yanmar TL100VP Forestry, listed biggest first by capacity measured the same way on every machine rather than as each brochure states it.
Two different families of Yanmar track loader sit on this page, and the last letter of the model name tells them apart. Yanmar bought ASV in 2019 and launched its own track loaders at CONEXPO in 2023; the first production TL100VS rolled off the line in February 2024, with the TL65RS, TL75VS and TL80VS following. Those S models run steel-embedded tracks on a conventional undercarriage and are aimed at hard surfaces and construction work. The P models are something else: ASV's Posi-Track undercarriage, fully suspended on torsion axles with all-rubber tracks, under a Yanmar badge and a Yanmar diesel.
The P line arrived in two waves in 2026. The small TL25RP, TL40RP and TL50RP, first shown at CONEXPO 2026, reached US and Canadian dealers in July; in late August Yanmar added the TL65RP, TL75VP, TL80VP and TL100VP plus Forestry versions of the last two, all built in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Trade press read the August launch as nearly finishing the replacement of ASV-branded track loaders in North America. R and V mark radial and vertical lift. Within a size, the P and S machines share an engine but not a rating: the Posi-Track version is lighter and faster with lower ground pressure, and it is rated lower (a TL100VP at 3,500 lb against 3,780 lb for the TL100VS). Yanmar covers the Posi-Track machines for two years or 2,000 hours bumper to bumper and adds a no-derailment guarantee for the same period.
The engines are Yanmar's own, and the 4TNV94FHT in the TL100 models is the same family John Deere uses in its large-frame loaders. Machines up to 71.5 hp stay clear of DEF; the 103.5 hp TL100 models carry a DEF tank. Owners praise the Posi-Track ride and flotation and point out the costs: all-rubber tracks cut faster on rock and demolition debris, and Yanmar publishes no bucket pin height for any P model, which makes truck-loading comparisons guesswork. The S line has little field history yet.
