The bright segment is what Yanmar TL75VP is rated to carry; the grey run past it is the rest of its tipping load. Bar length is tipping load drawn to the same scale on every machine on the site, so a short bar is a smaller machine and not a conservative rating.

One caveat on this machine: we could not find a published tipping load for it, so the figure above is its advertised capacity divided by the fraction its maker rates at. That makes the grey run arithmetic rather than a measurement, and it is the number worth asking a dealer to confirm.

Yanmar publishes no list price for this machine, and we found no dealer listing worth quoting, so there is no number here to give you. What we can say is what the machines around it cost: the middle half of the 27 track loaders within 15 per cent of its capacity list between $65,297 and $75,366. That is a fact about them, not a quote for this one.

Entry vertical-lift machine in Yanmar's August 2026 Posi-Track range, at 71.5 hp and 2,300 lb rated capacity. Same engine as the steel-embedded TL75VS-1C, on a suspended undercarriage that trades 255 lb of rated capacity for 9.1 mph travel and 4.5 psi ground pressure.

Also sold as

The same machine is sold as the ASV VT-75-1C — different paint, different dealer network, same hardware, so the choice is usually about which dealer is closer and which one you would rather owe a service call to.

Suits: Contractors who load trucks but spend more of the day driving and working on soft or finished ground Its vertical lift path reaches highest at full extension, for loading high-sided trucks and stacking.

What owners of the same hardware report

Nobody has written up this exact machine yet, so this is drawn from reports on the machines that share its hardware — the model it replaced, a sibling on the same platform, or the same machine sold under another badge. The prose says which in each case. It is accurate about the iron rather than about this particular model.

Between two Yanmar mid-frames separated by one letter sits the single biggest difference in the whole range. Set the TL75VP against the TL75VS-1C and you are comparing 4.5 psi to 6.1, 9.1 mph to 7.5, and 7,915 lb to 9,205 - the same 71.5 hp engine on two entirely different undercarriages. Yanmar's own framing is that the Posi-Track machines are "engineered for exceptional traction and performance on soft, wet, slippery, rough, or hilly terrain" while the steel-embedded models are "designed for durability and performance in construction and hard-surface environments".

The hardware here is ASV's Posi-Track: a fully suspended torsion-axle undercarriage carrying 12 ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and rubber wheels per track on sealed bearings, with all-rubber belts that lay down as many as four times the ground contact points of a steel-embedded track. That is the mechanism behind both the flotation and the quoted 1,500 to 2,000 hours of track life, against roughly 1,000 for steel-embedded. Standard equipment is better than on the S machine too - telematics, rearview camera, two-speed and adjustable joysticks all come in the base build. The costs are consistent and well documented by people running ASV's equivalents: more wheels and bearings to wear out, pricier track sets, and undercarriage parts expensive enough at dealer list that long-term owners source them elsewhere. Rock and demolition debris cut all-rubber belts quickly, and keeping the open rails washed out is the maintenance strategy rather than an extra.

A landscaper or site contractor whose costly mistake is rutting ground is the buyer this fits - wet spring work, finished turf, septic and utility work across lawns. The capacity penalty is the real decision: 2,300 lb against 2,555 lb is the widest gap between any P and S pair Yanmar sells, so if you routinely carry near the limit, the steel-embedded machine is the honest choice. Before signing, get the unpublished bucket pin height measured and written down, decide whether you need the 26.7 gpm option, and price the identical ASV VT-75-1C from whichever dealer is closer - on this undercarriage, distance to a parts counter is a running cost.

What owners like

  • Vertical lift with genuine flotation is a rare pairing - most low-ground-pressure loaders in this class are radial - and 4.5 psi against the TL75VS-1C's 6.1 is the widest ground-pressure gap between any two machines in the Yanmar range.
  • 9.1 mph against the steel-embedded machine's 7.5 mph, on 15-inch tracks with 59 inches on the ground and 12 polyethylene and rubber wheels per track riding on sealed bearings.
  • 7,915 lb at the open-ROPS weight is nearly 1,300 lb under the TL75VS-1C, which genuinely changes what pickup and trailer combination moves it legally.
  • SmartAssist Remote telematics, a rearview camera, two-speed travel, adjustable joysticks and an LED lighting package are standard, where telematics, the camera and the air-ride seat are paid options on the steel-embedded machine beside it.
  • Hydraulics match the steel-track machine exactly at 21.4 gpm standard and 26.7 gpm high flow, with 3,481 and 3,771 psi respectively - so choosing the Posi-Track undercarriage costs nothing in attachment capability.

What owners complain about

  • 2,300 lb rated capacity is 255 lb below the TL75VS-1C on the same 71.5 hp engine - the largest capacity penalty between any P and S pair in the range. Buyers chasing capacity should look at the S machine.
  • No bucket pin height is published, which is a real gap on a machine whose lift path is its selling point, and worse here because the steel-embedded sibling's 10-foot 6.5-inch figure is published and tempting to assume.
  • 21.4 gpm standard is midpack and 26.7 gpm high flow is an option, so hydraulic-heavy attachment work is not this machine's strength at any price.
  • All-rubber tracks with embedded co-polymer cords rather than a steel core are what deliver the flotation, and they are also why rock, rebar and demolition debris cut them faster than they cut steel-embedded belts.
  • The suspended undercarriage carries more wheels, bogies, bearings and seals than a conventional one, and owners of ASV's equivalent hardware consistently report that dealer-list prices on those components are steep enough that they buy aftermarket - track sets alone run roughly $4,000 to $6,000 against $3,500 to $5,500 for a rival's.
  • It is an August 2026 machine: no published price, no owner history, no used-market trail to check a quote against.
  • The same hardware is sold as the ASV VT-75-1C, so two dealer networks quote one machine - useful for proximity, confusing for price discovery.

What buyers ask

How much less does the TL75VP lift than the TL75VS-1C?
255 lb - 2,300 against 2,555, on the same 71.5 hp engine. That is the largest capacity penalty between any Posi-Track and steel-embedded pair in Yanmar's range. What the money buys instead is 4.5 psi rather than 6.1, 9.1 mph rather than 7.5, and nearly 1,300 lb less machine to tow.
Is this the same machine as the ASV VT-75-1C?
Yes. Yanmar owns ASV and sells the same hardware under both badges. Get quotes from both dealers and buy from whichever has the nearer parts counter - on a suspended all-rubber undercarriage, the components you will reorder over the machine's life are exactly the ones you do not want to wait on.
Does the Posi-Track version give up any hydraulic capability?
No. Standard flow is 21.4 gpm at 3,481 psi and high flow is 26.7 gpm at 3,771 psi, matching the steel-embedded TL75VS-1C exactly. Both are midpack for the class, so heavy attachment work is not this frame size's strength on either undercarriage - the TL80 models at 34.3 gpm are the step up.
What is the lift height?
Yanmar does not publish one for any Posi-Track model. It is tempting to assume it matches the steel-embedded TL75VS-1C's published 10-foot 6.5-inch bucket pin height, but that is a different machine on a different undercarriage and the assumption is not safe. Have the dealer measure it and put the figure in the quote.
How much does the undercarriage cost to keep running?
Track sets comparable to these run roughly $4,000 to $6,000 against $3,500 to $5,500 for a steel-embedded rival's, with life quoted at 1,500 to 2,000 hours against about 1,000. Beneath them sit bogie wheels, idlers, bearings and seals a conventional undercarriage does not have, and long-term owners of the ASV equivalents are consistent that dealer-list prices on those parts push them toward aftermarket sourcing.
Is it suitable for demolition or rock work?
No, and the reason is the tracks rather than the machine. All-rubber belts with embedded co-polymer cords and no steel core are what produce the flotation, and rock, rebar and concrete debris cut them considerably faster than they cut steel-embedded tracks. For that work the TL75VS-1C is the cheaper machine to keep in tracks, at the cost of ground pressure.
