The bright segment is what Gehl V335 is rated to carry; the grey run past it is the rest of its tipping load. Bar length is tipping load drawn to the same scale on every machine on the site, so a short bar is a smaller machine and not a conservative rating.

Gehl publishes no list price for this machine, and we found no dealer listing worth quoting, so there is no number here to give you. What we can say is what the machines around it cost: the middle half of the 9 wheeled machines within 15 per cent of its capacity list between $67,909 and $79,590. That is a fact about them, not a quote for this one.

Part of the September 2025 large-frame launch, and the point where Gehl's wheeled range moves from Yanmar to a 100 hp Deutz TCD3.6. Capacity only climbs 100 lbs over the V325 but flow, power and headroom all step up with it.

What owners report

Summarised from the sources listed below. Nothing here was tested by us.

Slotting between the 72 hp V325 and the 114 hp V360, this is the middle of Gehl's September 2025 large-frame range and arguably the most coherent of the three. The extra engine over the V325 is what makes the 40 GPM high-flow option meaningful, because flow without the horsepower behind it just means an attachment that stalls under load. Product manager Nathan Ryan positioned the whole range against Caterpillar, JCB, Takeuchi and Case in what the trade calls the super skid steer class.

The platform's real changes are structural. Patent-pending lift arms slope away from the operator so material sheds rather than packing on, with hoses routed inside or underneath for protection, and R&D director Tyler Handel described the goal as visibility above and below the boom. Hydraulics are load-sensing with variable rate flow, letting the operator dial in what an attachment actually wants, and there is an adjustable creep mode with a boost pedal for planers and brooms. Controls are pilot joysticks mounted to the seat rather than electro-hydraulic. The cab gets a 7-inch colour display, backlit keypad with keyless start and a foot throttle, and Gehl quotes up to 50.3 hydraulic horsepower standard with 82 hp available on the boost option.

Attachments rather than pallets have to be the reason you are shopping large-frame - if you mostly need lift capacity, the cheaper V325 gets you within 100 lbs. Gehl publishes no price, so collect quotes under both the Gehl and Manitou badges, because the identical machine sells as the Manitou 3350V and whichever dealer is closer is the one worth buying from. Before signing, confirm the high-flow circuit and hydraulic boost are itemised on the build sheet, price the side counterweights separately, and accept that on a platform this new you are buying the warranty and the dealer as much as the machine.

What owners like

  • The 40 GPM high-flow option at 3,450 psi is enough to run a large mulching head at its rated output rather than marginally, which is the practical dividing line between this class and the 30-34 GPM machines below it.
  • 100 hp from the Deutz TCD3.6 leaves reserve to drive an attachment and the wheels at the same time, instead of bogging whenever the head loads up.
  • Optional side counterweights lift rated capacity from 3,350 lbs to 3,800 lbs, a much bigger proportional gain than the counterweight kits on Gehl's smaller frames deliver.
  • Bucket breakout across the large-frame range is quoted at 10,624 lbs with 7,041-7,116 lbs at the lift arm, so it digs as hard as it lifts.
  • Serviceability was clearly a design target: grouped daily checks, grease fittings around the machine perimeter at walking height, a tilt-up hydraulic cooler with an optional reversible fan, and a tilting cab.

What owners complain about

  • Only 6,702 lbs of tipping load sits under the 3,350 lb rating, and because Gehl quotes wheeled machines at 50% of tipping load that leaves genuinely little margin when a bucket loads unevenly or a pallet sits off-centre.
  • Launched September 2025, so there is no service history, no used market and no independent read on what this platform does at high hours.
  • At 9,835 lbs it carries real transport cost and enough ground pressure to mark surfaces a lighter machine would cross without trace.
  • The Deutz engine is a different parts and service relationship from the Yanmar-powered machines lower in Gehl's own range, which fragments a mixed fleet.
  • The capacity step over the V325 is 100 lbs while the engine step is 28 hp, so the two models are genuinely hard to choose between unless you know your work is hydraulically limited rather than capacity limited.
  • Gehl publishes no list price for it, so there is nothing to check a dealer quote against except quotes from other dealers.

What buyers ask

V335 or V325 - how do I choose?
Capacity barely separates them: 3,350 lbs against 3,250 lbs. Engine does, at 100 hp against 72 hp. If your work is running heavy hydraulic attachments, the V335's reserve is the whole point. If you are handling pallets and loading trucks, the V325 does nearly the same job for less money.
Is the V335 the same machine as the Manitou 3350V?
Yes - same machine, same Madison, South Dakota factory, different badge and different dealer network. That is worth exploiting: price it under both names and buy from whichever dealer is nearer, because on a large-frame machine dealer proximity is the difference between a day down and a week.
Does the 3,350 lb rating compare directly with a track loader's number?
No. Gehl rates wheeled skid steers at 50% of tipping load, so 3,350 lbs comes off 6,702 lbs of tipping load. Track loaders in the same range are rated at 35%, so an equal headline number on a CTL means substantially more machine underneath. Compare tipping loads if you want a like-for-like picture.
Is there an electric version?
No. It is a 100 hp Deutz TCD3.6 diesel. Some online spec listings for Gehl's large-frame models mis-tag the power source as battery, which is a data-entry error rather than a product.
What does the optional hydraulic boost actually give me?
Gehl quotes the large-frame range at up to 50.3 hydraulic horsepower standard, rising to 82 hp with the boost option. On the 100 hp V335 that is a meaningful uplift for mulching heads and cold planers, but ask the dealer to confirm in writing what the boost delivers on the specific engine and flow package you are quoted, since the headline figures are published for the range rather than per model.
